Satuit Technologies provides the following as a guideline for SatuitCRM system installations. These specifications apply to hosted and on-premise clients.

General Requirements

Satuit recommends a minimum screen resolution of 1366 x 768 for best possible user experience.  Screen resolutions smaller than 1366 x 768 may not display Satuit features properly.

Outlook Add-In for Windows

Requires MS Office 2013 or higher, 32-Bit or 64-Bit versions. Requires .Net Framework 4.0 or higher.

* In order to use Email option on all tabs and Mail Merge features client users must have the Outlook Add-In for Windows installed

Requires Outlook 2016

Self-Hosting/On-Premise Requirements

SatuitCRM Enterprise often does not require a dedicated database server.  However, installation and capacity planning must consider all servers, services and transactional and queue databases required to serve SatuitCRM.  Your SQL Administrator and/or Network Administrator will need to determine the appropriate settings for your network.

  • Microsoft Windows 2016 Server or higher
  • Microsoft SQL 2019 Enterprise or Microsoft SQL 2019 Standard or above
  • Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2019 or above
  • The database system must be installed as:
    Multi mode authentication – SQL and Windows
    Case-insensitive Sort Order
  • SQL Latin1 General Server Collation

Application Server Requirements

SatuitCRM does not require a dedicated application server; however, installation and capacity planning must include all resources running on a server.  Satuit Technologies provides the following as a guideline for SatuitCRM Server Installations:

  • Microsoft Windows 2016 Server or Microsoft Windows Server 2016 with Microsoft Internet Information Server
  • Microsoft .Net Framework Version 4.6
  • SSL Encryption Certificate if HTTPS access will be used.

SatuitCRM On-premise version does not include the Search Nearby feature. To enable this feature, please contact Satuit for more information.

Personnel Requirements

Beyond the initial configuration and implementation, SatuitCRM does not require significant Information Technology resources; however, from time to time SatuitCRM does require database maintenance.  Satuit Technologies recommends a Microsoft SQL certified administrator on staff or on contract for SQL Server installation and maintenance. Satuit can be contracted to perform the installation of SQL Server for an additional charge.  To arrange additional yearly support, contact the Satuit Sales Associate for details.

Web and Database Server Communication Test

If the SatuitCRM Web application and the SatuitCRM database are being run on separate servers, it is important to verify that the two servers can communicate with each other. To verify the communication between servers, ping the Database server from the Webserver by machine name (not IP address) and ping the Webserver from the Database server by machine name. If this ping test is not successful, resolve the cause of the failed test before continuing.

Self-hosting/On-premise Feature Differences

Note: There are several features available with our cloud model which may not be available or require the licensing and installation of 3rd-party and/or additional support not covered as part of your Satuit license. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Search Nearby: Location based searching functionality which requires separate licensing from Google.
  • Satuit2GO v2: The mobile application which requires a separate AuthHub to be setup, contact your Satuit Representative for additional details. 
  • Satuit2GO Mail: An automated email processing feature which includes BCC'ing a specific email address not available outside of the Satuit cloud.
  • RestAPI/BulkAPI: Requires a separate AuthHub to be setup, contact your Satuit Representative for additional details.
