Two-Step Authentication
Satuit uses a two-step Authenticator which is a software token that implements two-step verification services using the Time-based One-time Password Algorithm (TOTP) and HMAC-based One-time Password Algorithm (HOTP) for authenticating users if enabled by your organization.
Popular authenticator applications:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Duo Mobile
Upon trying to log in for the first time, the user will need to scan the QR code with the app or enter the secret key manually. After the authentication has been successfully completed, the user will be logged in.
After you log in for the first time with the two-step authentication, the next login will only need to use the code that is generated from the app or the chrome add-in.
