Mail Merge Templates - SatuitPAC®

A Word document that connects dynamically to the back-end of SatuitCRM® or SatuitSIP® Investor Portal and allows you to merge any database fields that are stored in the application. A good option for adding a personal touch to reports by adding specific contact details to cover pages and windowed envelope pages. You can create a new template or import an existing template.

To Create a NEW Template

  1. Click on Mail Merge Templates and Select New
  2. A blank word document will open and you can then click on the Insert Merge Field icon and select database fields as well as add any other continue you wish. When finished choose file/save as and save locally
  3. Select Import, choose New and give the new mail merge document a name and description. Then browse to the new file on your network and click import new

Edit Existing Template

To make any changes to an existing template you must highlight the template and choose a view which will open the template on your computer. After making changes to the document YOU MUST CHOOSE FILE/SAVE AS AND SAVE OVER THE EXISTING TEMPLATE. Close the file. Then select import and choose to replace. Browse to the template and press OK when prompted to replace the selected template.

The second option is to import an already existing template on your computer in the SatuitCRA® Utility. To do this follow these steps:

  1. Select import and choose NEW
  2. Enter name, description and browse to the new file
  3. CC Recipient List is a Mailmerge field
  4. Open you’re Mail Merge Template and choose package_CCList as a Mail Merge field
  5. CC Cover Letter
  6. The CC Cover Letter menu option functions exactly like the Mail Merge Templates option. The only difference is that the template found under this menu will be used as the cover letter for third party packages
  7. The checkbox next to the template name will determine the primary template to be used for third party packages

Fonts Manager

The Fonts Manager option allows the user to select different styles of fonts that are available in Microsoft Word.
