View an Embedded Document

From the Document Detail Form:

  1. Double-click on the name of the document to view from the Document Attachment Object
  2. The File Download dialog box will appear, select 'Open this file' or 'Save File to a Disk' and click OK
  3. View the document

When looking for a document in the Document Attachment Object, you can promote the document records to a Document Browse List by clicking “View All” from the linked document window. This functionality offers a better searching and filtering experience in situations where multiple documents are linked to an Activity, Opportunity, Account, or Deal Flow/Case Management record.

Note

To edit embedded documents in Satuit: Open the document, make edits then Save the file and upload to Satuit. Any edits made after the document is opened directly from Satuit will not be reflected unless the document is saved and added to Satuit after the editing. Edits to embedded documents cannot be made directly from Satuit.

In v16.0+ of Satuit the 'Attachments' field, which can be configured to a Document Browse List allows users to download document attachments directly from the Browse List. This enables users to view the document without having to open the full Document Record.
