Platform Wide Enhancements
Homepage - External Links
Users and Homepage Admins may now add an External Links panel to Homepage Views, allowing Users to create shortcuts to pertinent websites directly from Satuit. You can add as many links as you would like with the URL and description with an easy drag and drop configuration to order links. Each link will open in a separate tab or window based on browser settings.
Satuit Data Exchange - Run Jobs Multiple Times a Day
Building on our easy to use automated data import tool, SatuitSDX, we have added an additional intra-day Recurrence Pattern option. With the ability to select 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hour, or 12 hours, user can now run multiple import/export jobs times a day to improve data relevancy between Satuit and their other critical systems. Users also have the option to only run these jobs on weekdays.
Workflow - New Account and New Opportunity Action Types
By popular demand we have added the ability to create new Account and Opportunity records via Satuit's Workflow engine. Building on the existing functionality to generating E-Mails and/or creating new Activities, this change expands process automation by triggering record updates to automatically create new Accounts and/or new Opportunities based on changes within the application.
As an example, this feature can be used to generate a new Account record within Satuit when a Sales Opportunity was marked 'Won' while also creating on-boarding activities and notifying team members via email.
Workflow - Create Records with Values from Source Record
Whether creating new Activities, Accounts, or Opportunity, Workflows may be designed to populate fields with values from the source record, improving usability and data integrity.
When creating a new record trigger within the Workflow tool, administrators can select the 'Value From Source' checkbox, then select the field containing the value desired in the 'Source Field' dropdown. When the new record is create, it will automatically populate the value from the Source record in that field for the new record.
