Audit Log — Access, Permissions, and Scheduling

Q: How do I access the Audit Log?
A: The Audit Log is available from System Admin > Audit Reports. To access it, your user account must have one of the following standard roles: Security Admin or Business Admin. Q: Can I schedule an Audit Report to run automatically?
A: You can use the Report Scheduler (Reporting > Report Scheduler) to automate standard reports. You can also use System Admin > Satuit Data Exchange > SDX Configuration to export data on a schedule. However, a pre-built scheduled Audit Report does not exist by default — custom audit reports can be built in the SSRS reporting tool, either by your team or through Satuit Professional Services.

Q: An audit log entry shows a change was made by a user, but they say they didn't make that change. The entry says "SiteA." What does that mean?
A: "SiteA" is the internal system process that runs automatically when a change triggers a cascade update. For example, if a picklist value is deleted, SiteA will automatically remove that value from all records that had it assigned — and the audit log will show SiteA as the updater. The root cause was the deletion of the picklist value itself, not a direct edit to each record.
