Release 18.4
SatuitCRM v18.4 is a significant release, led by the introduction of the Satuit AI Assistant — a conversational AI embedded directly in the CRM. Alongside the AI feature, this release delivers improvements across contacts, imports, homepage dashboards, email templates, and mobile (2GO), plus over 25 bug fixes.
Satuit AI Assistant (Satuit Agent) — New Feature
Satuit Agent is an AI-powered chat assistant built directly into the CRM. Users can ask questions, look up records, and make updates through natural conversation — no need to navigate menus.
- Types of Actions Supported:
- Look up contacts, businesses, activities, and other records by description
- Create, update, delete, and move records through the chat interface
- Interacting with the Agent:
- Stop/cancel button to abort an in-progress request
- Handles today/tomorrow references correctly in date fields
- Rate limit feedback shown inline instead of silent failures
- Embedded mode available for integrations that need to host the agent inside another page
- Token usage tracking and per-rep reporting available for billing review
- Input fields strip raw HTML markup on save to prevent malicious code from rendering in chat
- Admin:
- New AI Configuration page to enable or disable AI access per record type; AI permissions update automatically when roles are changed
- Rep Permissions diagnostic page showing effective functions per rep with role attribution
- Conversation history is saved to the database and restored across page reloads and sessions
- "Generate Ticket" button sends a pre-filled support email with the full conversation attached

- Show me all clients with AUM over $5M who haven't had a touchpoint in the last 90 days
- Which deals have been stuck in 'due diligence' for more than 30 days?
- Summarize notes from my last 5 client meetings and identify open action items
- Draft an email to <NAME> to try and schedule a follow-up meeting
Contact Records — Age & Date of Birth
- New Date of Birth field on Contact records
- New calculated Age field (read-only, auto-computed)
- Age available as a search filter and in chart groupings
- Date of Birth changes tracked in audit logs
Contact Auto-Update Controls
- System Administration now includes an on/off toggle for Contact Auto-Update, giving admins full control over when the feature is active
- New batch process to auto-assign business domains from contact email addresses — only applies when a domain is unique to a single business
Email Templates
- Added Palatino Linotype and Carlito (Regular, Bold, Italic, Bold Italic) font families to the template editor
- Double-click an email template in the list to open it for editing — no longer need to click a separate Edit button
Mass Update & Fields
- Expiration Date field is now available as a target in the Mass Update tool
- Four new formatted text (mcomment) fields added to Activity records for additional notes
Document Attachments
- Attachments listed in the document bubble (activities, opportunities, deal flow, etc.) are now sorted alphabetically
Data Import Improvements
- Account Recipient List import — new import tool to add accounts to an existing Recipient List from an Excel file, matching by Account Number, ISIN, or Ticker
- Alternate email/phone matching — contact imports now fall back to alternate email and phone fields when the primary email doesn't find a match, reducing unmatched rows
- Outlook Add-in (OAI) — users can now configure which additional fields appear on the activity creation form, similar to how Satuit 2GO is configured. Defaults to the most commonly requested fields (Product, Opportunity, Activity Type, Keywords)
Satuit 2GO (Mobile)
- Direct links now include a "View in Full Site" top-level button
- "View in App" deep-link option under the More menu to jump back into the mobile app from a direct link
- Contacts in the side panel are now shown when matching on alternate phone or email
Other Improvements
- Domain synchronization task now generates an output file so admins can review what was processed
- Team Name added as an available field in search forms
- Vault API tokens and OAuth credentials are now hidden from the session debug page
- Portal: Users can now download chart data directly from portal charts
Release 18.3
SatuitCRM v18.3 expands on the Outlook Add-in
Extended Email Plug-in for New Outlook
To simplify the use of the Satuit Add-In for the New Outlook, you can now:
- Create Contacts directly from an email and/or appointment inside the Outlook Add-in
- Full support for Unassigned Activities and Appointments for emails or meetings not matched to a known contact — including the ability to add attachments.
- Unassigned email contacts are tracked and stored automatically when allowed by system settings.
- Configurable forms with field validation is enforced during record creation, ensuring all the fields your firm configured in the Form Designer are displayed within Outlook
'My Outputs' & 'Report Outputs' Widgets on Homepage
For quick access to your Outputs, we have added two new widget types let you embed report output results directly on your Homepage, each summarises the top 50 results and links through to the full output:
- 'My Outputs' displays your personal report results
- 'Report Outputs' shows shared report results
Auto-Add Contact by Domain (Full Support)
What was entered as a beta version in SatuitCRM v18.1, 18.3 now fully supports the new Auto-Add Contact by Domain feature automatically creates and enriches CRM contact records from your email interactions — pulling details directly from Outlook or Gmail and filtering them by approved business domains (e.g., @company.com).
With this enhancement, SatuitCRM captures contact data directly from your email traffic based on the new Domain field assigned to each Entity or Business record. Only contacts from trusted, whitelisted business domains are imported — keeping your CRM clean from noise like personal emails or group addresses (e.g., info@, support@). System Admininstrators can click on the 'Synchronize domains' button from Configurations > Global Settings option to automatically fill in the domains at the Business/Entity level.
Satuit intelligently parses sender and recipient details, enriches them with name, title, phone, and LinkedIn data when available, and checks for duplicates using smart matching on email, phone, and company domain.
Admins can control global sync options in System Administration, while individual users can toggle auto-sync on or off at the profile level. Every auto-created contact is logged in the Audit Trail for full transparency.
Contact Enhancements
- Age Calculation: A new function automatically calculates a contact's current age from their Date of Birth field, correctly accounting for whether the birthday has passed this year.
- Address Auto-Copy from Business: When linking a new contact to a business, the business's primary address is now automatically pre-filled on the contact record, reducing manual data entry.

This release delivers meaningful improvements across Outlook integration, search flexibility, UI efficiency, APIs, and data richness—helping investment management teams work faster, reduce friction, and gain deeper visibility into their relationships and business data.
Email Plug-in for New Outlook
Seamless integration with New Outlook ensures users can stay productive without leaving their inbox, enabling users streamlined capture of client communications, improved compliance and record-keeping, and faster access to key contact details during daily workflows.
- Full support for Satuit integration within New Outlook
- SAML & Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) support for secure access

Advanced Search with Date Tokens
The power of Date Tokens is no longer limited to Custom Searches! With the addition of Dake Tokens in Advanced Searches, you can search smarter with support for rolling time periods to enable dynamic reporting and Saved Views to improve your engagement and reporting.
Available Date Tokens include:
- Fixed Date Range when you want to search off of an exact set of dates (i.e. 2026 Calendar year)
- Standard ranges when you want to a simple comparison to a set date:
- Equals
- Greater Than
- Less Than
- Greater Than Or Equal To
- Less Than or Equal To
- Between
- Is Empty
- Is Not Empty
- Future and Past ranges when you want to have the system a calculate the range based off of a set date:

Click Reductions & UI Improvements
We have introduced many thoughtful UI enhancements reduce clicks, improve clarity, and accelerate daily tasks. The results will show less friction and fewer clicks for both power users and administrators with faster configuration and data entry.
- All Users:
- Saved View Criteria leverages AI to display the search criteria used and the type of data returned for all Saved VIews.
- Copy feature added to Reporting Requirements to simplify the addition of recipients of reports
- The default text site of the Activity Comment is adjusted to 12-point
- Phone numbers & emails included in Copy Address option for Business/Entities and Contacts
- System Administrators:
- Allowed for the business/entity fields to be configured on the child SatuitGO Forms
- We made Picklists editable directly from the Data Dictionary
- System Administration window now opens in a new tab instead of a new window
API & Integration Enhancements
Expanded integration capabilities support modern infrastructure and reporting needs for greater flexibility and secure email delivery.
- Support for SMTP Username/Password & TLS in the automated integration tool Satuit Data eXchange (SDX)
- Reporting Requirements now accessible via REST API
New and Expanded Data Fields
Additional fields provide deeper insight into entities, activities, and representatives.
- Total AUM field on Entity records which automatically aggregates AUM from Accounts at that Entity, providing improved visibility into firm-wide assets.
- Four additional formatted memo fields on the Activities tab with similar functionality as the Activity Comment field, to allow for richer Activity documentation.
- Expanded REP-level details for more complete and professional representative profiles, including:
- Department
- Address
- Phone
- Profile picture
- Biography

Click Reductions & Workflow Improvements
We’ve streamlined key areas of SatuitCRM to help you move faster and work smarter. The latest updates added shortcuts reduce the number of clicks it takes to perform common tasks — making your day-to-day experience smoother and more intuitive.
Here are the new button shortcuts:
- Refresh — instantly update your Browse List, Detail Form, and Summary Form screens without exiting and reopening.
Pop-Out — open records in separate windows so you can view and compare multiple records side by side.
Configure — jump straight from a form or search screen into the Configuration Tools to quickly add, remove, or modify fields.
- Copy Reporting Requirements — easily duplicate an existing Reporting Requirement to assign it to another contact.
- Move Document — move existing document records between Entities or Businesses, ideal for managing shared documents with third-party participants like Investment Consultants.

Additional Improvements
A few more improvements to make your experience even better:
- Expanded Account Fields — 60 new text boxes (cuserchar31–cuserchar90) added to the Account table for more flexible data capture.
- Extended Portal Document Expiration — Portal Administrators can now set document expiration dates up to 3 years out.
- Improved Calendar Display — Activities without a start time will now display at 12:00 AM, ensuring no task goes unseen.

Upgraded Developer Tool Kits
We've replaced and upgraded core development toolkits to boost system security, improve performance, and pave the way for more powerful features in future releases.
Enhanced Constant Contact Integration
We've updated the authentication method between Satuit and Constant Contact to leverage Constant Contact's new API. While making these changes, we simplified the process to make it even easier to connect the two services.
SatuitCRA URL Simplification
For our clients who use our SatuitCRA products exclusively (SatuitSIP or SatuitPAC but not SatuitCRM), they will no longer need to use the '/satuitcra' in the url; the system will automatically forward you the proper path. Your existing shortcuts and bookmarks which includes '/satuitcra' will still work.
Expanded Office Extension Support
We’ve added support for additional Microsoft Office file types in both standard and custom reporting. For example, Word documents are now delivered in the modern .docx format, enhancing compatibility and usability.
